Report: Law Firm Mergers Up 33% in Q1

Legal management consultancy Altman Weil reports that law firm mergers and acquisitions increased by 33% during Q1. Altman Weil says 24 law firm mergers were reported in the first three months of 2009, up from the 18 mergers reported in the first quarter of 2008. Gonzalez Saggio Expands into Phoenix, LA

Milwaukee’s Gonzalez Saggio, a minority-owned law firm, is opening offices in Phoenix, Arizona and Los Angeles, California.
