New California Law Provides Free Counsel in Some Civil Matters

Governor Schwarzenegger signed a bill today that guarantees legal counsel to indigent respondents in some civil matters, such as foreclosures and child custody cases. Wolf Block Group Joins Weber Gallagher

The five-lawyer Norristown, Pennsylvania office of dissolving Wolf Block will join Weber Gallagher. The office’s two partners, Lynne Gold-Bikin and Daniel Clifford, three other lawyers, and seven staff will stay in the old Wolf Block offices. The office specializes in family law. Schweitzer Firm Offering Law Clerk Jobs to Students

Pasadena, California divorce and family law attorney Patrick Baghdaserians, of the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, has announced a recruiting program to hire current law school students as law clerks. He hopes the students students will be inspired to become family law attorneys. The law clerk program at Schweitzer is currently interviewing candidates.
