Chambliss Bahner Brings on Attorneys

Tennessee’s Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel has brought on two new attorney hires.

Robert M. “Mark” Addison joins as partner from Regions Morgan Keegan Trust. He will focus his practice on estate planning, estate administration and elder law. His JD is from the Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Bryson M. Kirksey joins the firm as an associate in the tax & estate planning practice. He has an LL.M from the Georgetown University Law Center, and a JD from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Homewood, Alabama.

Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel PC practices in areas including labor and employment, intellectual property, health care, business, real estate, taxation, estate preservation and all aspects of litigation. It employs 71 attorneys.

McNees Wallace Brings on Business Partners

McNees Wallace Nurick has brought on Bradley Gunnison and Michael Hund as partners in its business group.

The two are former partners from the Harrisburg office of Buchanan Ingersoll Rooney.

Gunnison has counseled closely-held businesses for more than 25 years and focuses his practice in the areas of corporate finance, business transactions, estate planning, and tax controversies.

Hund is a securities lawyer who handles corporate matters such as venture capital investments and other capital formation transactions for investors and companies, both privately and publicly held.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s McNees Wallace & Nurick opened offices in Washington DC in 1996, Columbus, Ohio in 1997, Hazleton, Pennsylvania in 1998, State College, Pennsylvania in 2002 and Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2004.

Maryland Law Firms Merge

Maryland law firms Berman, Sobin & Gross and Albertini and Darby have merged, to create Berman, Sobin, Gross, Feldman & Darby.

The new firm will retain primary offices in Baltimore and Gaithersburg, but also has offices in Cockeysville, Columbia, Cumberland, Largo, Linthicum and Suitland, as well as Arlington, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

The firm covers worker’s compensation, Social Security disability, personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, railroad accidents, maritime accidents, small business, estate planning, probate, elder law, domestic and general practice.

The firm has six partners: Clifford Sobin, Alan B. Gross, Kenneth Berman, David Galinis, Michael Feldman and P. Matthew Darby. It also employs 10 associates, two of counsel, and a support staff of 30.

Former partner Guy Albertini will remain in an of counsel capacity.
