I hope everyone had a great weekend. Let&#8217;s get back to the news&#8230;</p>
<p>It was a strange week last week. We capped the week with a story late Sunday about Falcon Heene, better known as the <a href="http://www.jdjournal.com/2009/10/19/charges-to-be-filed-in-balloon-boy-case/">balloon boy</a>, and his family. Charges may be brought against father Richard Heene&#8230;</p>
<p>On Friday we told you that President Obama has <a href="http://www.jdjournal.com/2009/10/16/former-patton-boggs-partner-nominated-for-ambassadorship/">nominated another ambassador</a> from the ranks of Big Law&#8230;</p>
<p>and we brought you the story of the Louisiana Justice of the Peace that <a href="http://www.jdjournal.com/2009/10/16/louisiana-justice-of-the-peace-refuses-to-issue-marriage-license-to-interacial-couple/">refused to license</a> an interracial couple to be married&#8230;</p>
<p>Last week was a week for unusual news all around, and here&#8217;s a quick hit of some of the quirkier stories&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.jdjournal.com/2009/10/15/sidekick-users-getting-their-data-back/">Sidekick users</a> are getting their data back after all, but there are still lawsuits on the way&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.jdjournal.com/2009/10/15/rush-limbaugh-dropped-from-group-bidding-on-rams/">Rush Limbaugh</a> has been dropped from a group bidding on the St Louis Rams&#8230;</p>
<p>and a prominent <a href="http://www.jdjournal.com/2009/10/14/through-the-looking-glass/">birther attorney</a> has been fined $20,000 by a judge in Georgia&#8230;</p>
