Juriscape, an organization dedicated to helping attorneys find jobs, is proud to announce its newest member of the team, JD Journal magazine, an original content magazine designed to entertain and inform. The magazine's introductory issue will debut this October. Juriscape and its affiliates have been the leaders in legal placement, assisting more than 50,000 attorneys each year by providing them unrivaled access to information that can help build careers. Now, with the introduction of JD Journal, there is a magazine effectively dealing with issues and concerns directly related to the lives of attorneys, law students, and other legal staff.
"Each issue of JD Journal will be dedicated to in-depth analysis of current trends in the legal community, professional profiles, academic and lifestyle discussions for law students, and a few out-of-the-ordinary goings-on in the world," said A. Harrison Barnes, Publisher and CEO of JD Journal and affiliates. Many legal professional insiders are saying that the magazine comes from a legacy of legal recruiter experience that is unprecedented in today's publishing world.
The magazine will rely on a devoted staff of professional writers working within the field of legal careers, giving the reader an inside view of the worlds of academia, legal practices, and business. The magazine will also benefit from the input of a distinguished editorial advisory board.
In addition, JD Journal will publish book reviews, pop culture pieces, cartoons, and satire, in keeping with a spirit of education and entertainment.
Some of the highlights of the inaugural issue include an interview with Erin Brockovich, tips for deciphering law firm culture, a judge's insight on dropping out of law school, and an intimate glimpse of four attorneys who make a big difference in a small town.
Barnes states, "Because the magazine is backed by Juriscape, the widespread distribution of our legal products demands that we stay up-to-date on developments in the legal community."
JD Journal magazine will be published bimonthly, with an annual distribution of 750,000. JD Journal and its subsidiaries comprise the largest group of organizations in the world dedicated to getting attorneys jobs. With a team of more than 200 researchers and editorial staff, they are also the leaders in research for the legal recruiting community. JD Journal is now the official source for information within the legal community providing insight for tens of thousands of law students, attorneys, and legal staff professionals.
