1.Purchasing
If you wish to purchase products or services described on the JD Journal website, you will be asked to supply certain information applicable to your purchase, including, without limitation, credit card and other information. You understand that any such information will be handled by JD Journal in the manner described in our Privacy Policy. You agree that all information that you provide to JD Journal will be accurate and complete. You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account and credit card or other payment mechanism at the price(s) in effect when such charges are incurred. You will also be responsible for paying any applicable taxes relating to your purchases. We reserve the right, without prior notification, to change such descriptions or references. Verification of information may be required prior to JD Journal's acceptance of any order. Price and availability of any product or service are subject to change without notice

2.Payments
All charges are shown in U.S. Dollars. Payments are to be made in U.S. Dollars. JD Journal accepts the following types of payment:
  • Check or Money Order
  • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
Auto Renewal
As a JD Journal subscriber, you will be billed for a membership in accordance with JD Journal's yearly subscription fee. As of this date, the subscription fee is $59.75 per year. Your credit card will be automatically billed the yearly fee, or the special offer originally received until you contact us by telephone to cancel your subscription. You may decide to cancel at any time, but charges will not be prorated. If your billing date falls on a weekend or legal U.S. holiday, it is your responsibility to call on a weekday prior to your billing date. Your billing date reflects the date your membership for JD Journal was initiated. If you forget your billing date, you may call customer service and we will be glad to provide it to you. JD Journal reserves the right to change the membership fees at any time. Your subscription to JD Journal will be automatically renewed every year, unless JD Journal is notified by phone. Until you terminate your membership, you authorize our billing company (Verisign) to charge your credit card (or other approved facility or mechanism) for the yearly subscription fee.

3.Return/Refund Policy
We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your subscription. However, because of the nature of magazine subscriptions, JD Journal does not offer refunds for any subscriptions you have purchased, or any renewals of such subscriptions. Whenever possible, if you notify us that your magazine has been severely damaged during shipping, we will make every effort to send you a replacement copy.

4. Disclaimer
The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. JD Journal expressly disclaims all warranties, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. JD Journal disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting from, arising out of, or any way related to (a) any errors in or omissions from this website and the content, including, but not limited to, technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, (b) any third-party websites or content therein directly or indirectly accessed through links in this website, including, but not limited to, any errors in or omissions therefrom, (c) the unavailability of the website or any portion thereof, (d) your use of this website, or (e) your use of any equipment or software in connection with the website.

5. Intellectual Property
Except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring any license or right--by implication, estoppel, or otherwise--under copyright or other intellectual property rights. By using the JD Journal website, you agree that its content is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, and/or other proprietary rights and laws. Except in connection with shopping or making a purchase, no portion of the JD Journal website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted electronically or mechanically, transmitted, recorded, in any manner photocopied, or reproduced without the prior written permission of JD Journal. JD Journal, the JD Journal logo, and other JD Journal logos and product and service names are trademarks of Attorney Research Group. You agree not to display or use these marks in any manner without written permission from JD Journal.

6. Limitation of Liability
JD Journal shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting from your use of the website. JD Journal shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees) in any way due to, resulting from, or arising in connection with the use of or inability to use the website or the content. To the extent the foregoing limitation of liability is prohibited, JD Journal's sole obligation to you for damages shall be limited to $100.00.

7. Hold Harmless
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JD Journal and, where applicable, its officers, directors, agents, and employees, as well as others whose content appears on the JD Journal website, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party arising out of or related in any way to your access of the website, inability to access or use the website, or any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Disputes, Jurisdiction, and Choice of Law
You agree that any and all disputes, controversies, or claims arising under or in any way related to your relationship with JD Journal or relating to the general validity or enforceability of any of the provisions hereof shall be filed in Los Angeles, California. Furthermore, the relationship between you JD Journal shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If a dispute arises that is required to be adjudicated in court, you and JD Journal agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the county of Los Angeles, CA. The failure of JD Journal to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any legal action concerning these Terms and Conditions or the JD Journal website must be brought within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.

9. Revisions
JD Journal reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any revisions made by JD Journal to the Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon notice, which JD Journal may provide by means including, but not limited to, posting on the JD Journal website or via email. Your use of the JD Journal website after such notice will be deemed acceptance of such changes, and you agree to be bound by such revisions. You should visit the JD Journal website and review it periodically to determine current Terms and Conditions to which you are bound. You agree that in the event any portion of the Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
