Caseworker at Texas Workforce Solutions Receives Client’s Job Application Alongside an Obscene Page 2
State agency Texas Workforce Solutions, works with a wide network of employers if you are looking for a job. They have a large network of potential employers, and can connect job seekers with adult education classes and vocational training programs. They can also help with resume writing or preparation for an interview.
According to Texas Workforce Solutions, a 25 year-old caseworker at the Alpha Road office received an email this morning, with a client’s job application and a picture of his penis. In shock, the workforce caseworker quickly called the police. The person that sent the email was found through the personal email address attached to the job application. He was ticketed for the “obscene display or distribution.” That is considered a class C misdemeanor.
Before putting any blame on the Alpha Road case, you have to consider that the email was probably sent by accident. With anyone who’s ever had mass mailings, hit “reply all,” or experienced an autocomplete fail can understand that.
Dallas spokesman, Demarquis Black says that, from what he can tell from the police report, the emailer in the Alpha Road case remains unemployed. “I think I know why he can’t find a job.”
