On Wednesday, Chicago law firm Vedder Price announced its foray into California with the establishment of an office in San Francisco. The California office of the firm would be focusing on employment law and finance. Vedder Price confirmed that it had chosen San Francisco as its choice location for a new office after “an extensive market analysis of potential office locations that best suit the firm’s existing client-base, while supporting the firm’s strategic plan for growth.”
Three new partners joining Vedder Price’s San Francisco office include Bradley C. Crawford, a former partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP, Brendan G. Dolan, a former partner at Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP, and Heather M. Sager, a former partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP.
Crawford has joined the firm’s Finance & Transactions group. He has extensive experience in managing debt and equity financing transactions on behalf of insurance companies, mezzanine funds and commercial financing lenders. Crawford has experience with traditional private placement financings, secured and unsecured syndicated bank financings, loan restructurings and tender offers, buyouts and acquisitions.
Dolan has joined the law firm’s Labor and Employment group. He has over 25 years of experience in defending discrimination, wrongful termination, employee misappropriation, noncompete claims, trade secrets and other similar matters.
Sager has also joined the firm’s Labor and Employment group. She is known for her work in the context of class action litigation, wage and hour disputes in representing the management side. She has extensive experience in single and multi-plaintiff litigation in wrongful termination, harassment and discrimination matters before administrative agencies, and state and federal courts.
