Al Alverson, from Texas, has surveillance cameras on his property. They came in handy when he came home and realized that the FedEx package he was waiting for was not at his house. He took a peek at his footage and discovered that the package was stolen.
Alverson was shocked when he discovered who it was that stole his package. He was interviewed by KHOU 11, telling them, “I said, ‘oh my god,’ it is the UPS guy.”
Alverson said he saw the UPS driver walk up to his home in Harris County, leave a package, and then come back again a couple of minutes later. When the UPS driver returned he stole the package that was left at the home by FedEx earlier that day.
The package from FedEx had an iPad mini in it, Alverson said. The iPad mini was bought for his daughter as a Christmas gift.
Alverson called UPS for help and said that he was receiving the “run around” from the company until he put the footage on YouTube for the world to view it. Alverson said that all of a sudden they became “very helpful” and “promised they would get me a replacement iPad today.”

The employee was fired yesterday for suspicion of theft and was a seasonal employee who was hired to help full-time drivers with their deliveries during the holiday season. Alverson did not press charges after the stolen package was returned to him by the UPS employee.
