Staged as a Public Service Announcement, College Humor has released another funny video, equipped with their usual wit, this time featuring a set of gay men threatening to “marry your girlfriend.” The premise of the skit is to confront the fact that only nine states allow gay marriage. If marriage should be defined as one man and one woman, then straight men better watch out, they’re in for some stiff competition.
“What, you don’t think we could? We’d be the best husbands ever!” they threaten, and then list over a dozen reasons why they have more to offer a woman than a straight man.
“Straight men, you are Death Stars, and we are an army of fabulous Luke Skywalkers.”

“Have you seen us? We are ripped … all of us are ripped. It doesn’t seem statistically possible, and yet its true … because we love going to the gym. And you know who else loves going to the gym? Your girlfriend! … We’ll go to the gym with her, and then after, we’ll get Pinkberry as a reward… that sounds like a great time to us.”
The list goes on to note that gays dress better, make better breakfasts, make for better dates (“Don’t want to go dancing? We teach dance.”), ending up with enough hilarity to get a laugh out of the difficult issue.
