I can't believe this is a common practice. People that do this type of thing should be arrested and have to deal with being on the sex offender register. This type of behavior would most definitely be a precursor to rape and other sexual deviance. Anyone exposing themselves in public without doubt is a sicko and should be considered a danger to society. To find out this is fairly common just shows how our society is collapsing, these types of behaviors should not and cannot be tolerated in our community.

This has been happening for eons. My great-grandmother used to tell us how she used her hatpins to ward off men getting "fresh" on the subway. One nice stick will change his mood! We ladies can't be shy about standing up for ourselves. Once a guy exposed himself to my sister and me while riding a crowded bus. He was straphanging in front of us and my sister noticed he'd squished his (soft) penis out of his zipper. When the bus cleared out a bit, he sat down and my sister said she was going to do something, and to back her up. When our stop came and we got up, she stood at the front and said, "Excuse me everybody! This man exposed his penis when he was standing in front of us!" He was an older guy, and his mouth just dropped. I said to him, "I bet that's the last time you try that!" and we jumped off the bus, hoping he got his share of dirty looks. There isn't always going to be a cop around and who wants to wait for a court trial for justice that may never come? If someone puts their hands -- or anything else -- on you, you grab it, hold it high and announce that this guy is molesting you. Or you stick him with your hatpin. Call attention to him because he's counting on you not making a scene!
