One of the most well-known women in the history of the United States presidency, Monica Lewinsky, is back in the news but this time its about a book she is writing. It has been rumored that Lewinsky is busy shopping her new book around to potential takers. The rumors state that the publishers she has met with have all been asked to sign nondisclosure agreements if they wanted to meet with her.

Someone close to the project said, “I’m sure every major publisher was interested in hearing what she had to say.”

Lewinsky worked as an intern in the White House during the Bill Clinton years and created a scandal in 1998 that no one will ever forget. Lewinsky has done a handful of interviews since then but has pretty much kept herself under the radar. She left for the London School of Economics in 2005. A representative for Lewinsky said this week, “I cannot comment on anything at this point.”

This book, if it is published, would not be the first book from Lewinsky. She published the book Monica’s Story back in 1999. It was published by St. Martin’s Press. The book was written by Andrew Morton, who was assisted by Lewinsky. This should be very interesting to see what the book will discuss if it ever hits shelves.
