Kristen Stewart Apologizes for Cheating on Robert Pattinson With her Director Rupert Sanders

“Is it not enough to have a long and happy life with me?” asked the Edward Cullen character from Twilight, and he might as well have asked it to Kristen, who is also his real life girlfriend. But who said things were so neat and romantic in real life? The ever tasteful Us Weekly is running an article which exposes Kristen Stewart, 22, for cheating on her real life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, with her director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders, 41 — with a series of photographs of the two making out. “It seemed like they couldn’t get enough,” said one photographer.

That the director is married to British Vogue model Liberty Ross, and has two children, 7 and 5, is bad enough, but to risk such exposure when you are such a high publicity couple is downright foolish.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” said Kristen. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m sorry.”

The young couple, whose romance began while they where filming the first installment of Twilight, has become more and more open in their public displays of affection and their dates in Los Angeles. Unfortunately for them, celebrity romances can be especially perilous.
