Most cops are OK guys and are underpaid for what they do. Day before yesterday I watched a solemn procession of more than a hundred officers from cities and counties all over Texas escorting one of their own in a motorcade from Austin to San Angelo where he was reared and will be buried. He was responding to a disturbance call at an Austin WalMart. When he arrived a doped and drunk scumbag, bitter about being dumped by his GF, immediately attacked, whipped out a pistol, and shot the 40 YO Austin officer in the neck, killing him and leaving two little girls without a daddy.

There will always be a few bad ones who tarnish the reputations of the vast majority.

This guy was obviously a stalker and a bad cop. Before his retirement in a few months he should at least be stripped of his rank and retired at minimum expense to the public.
