Vampires may last forever, but their marriages don’t. We learned that lesson with Tom Cruise, but today we are reminded now that Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth are calling it quits. The source of the trouble is apparently Facinelli’s wayward gaze.
“Peter had been seeing another woman for quite some time .. They tried to make it work for the sake of their children and Jennie played housewife for as long as she could, but finally had enough,” said one source, and added, “Jennie knew. As a lot of couples do, they simply grew apart.”
Facinelli is best known for playing the leader of the Cullen family in the “Twilight” movies; Garth is best known for playing in the original “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

The broken couple has released a statement that, “While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
They were married in 2001 and have three daughters, Luca, who is 14, Lola, who is 9, and Fiona, who is 5.
The upcoming reality television show, “Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country,” which is about the family’s move to a farm on California, may include their struggles as part of the show.
