Husband Tries To Murder Wife With Poisoned Rice Krispies

A man from California tried to kill his wife by putting Goof Off in her bowl of Rice Krispies. Apparently this was the best idea that he had to commit murder. The poison used is an incredibly potent, and the husband filled the bowl with the toxic product. The smell from this highly potent radiated from the bowl of cereal. The wife recognized that the bowl was poison after eating a bite, and  immediately left for the emergency room.

Her husband, Fernando Porras, was not suspect for the crime immediately. During her examination, Porras stepped out of the exam room under the pretense of taking a smoke break. However, instead of grabbing a cigarette, he decided to run away, knowing that he would be caught eventually.

However, although he tried to escape, he managed to get caught. Authorities quickly took him in and charged him for attempted murder of his wife. Porras is currently jailed with a $1 million bail.

The wife is recovering well from the poison. Hopefully she will not be able to move on from the traumatic event. Maybe some day soon she will be able to sit down for breakfast, pour her Rice Krispies and eat them without being rushed to the hospital.
