One of the country’s most popular actors, Matthew McConaughey, has finally popped the question. The insanely good-looking actor proposed to his insanely good-looking Brazilian model girlfriend on Christmas. His girlfriend’s name is Camila Alves, according to the Huffington Post.
McConaughey used his WhoSay account to announce the news on his own. His post features a photo of the bald actor kissing Alves, 29. The couple is kissing in front of a Christmas tree and has the caption of: “just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas.”
The two have been dating since 2006 and have two children together. Their children are Levi, 3 and Vida, 1.
McConaughey conducted an interview with Esquire in the month of March, telling the magazine that he has strong feelings for his girlfriend even though they had not gotten married yet. He went on to tell the magazine the following:
“I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together,” he said.
