Casey Anthony Sued by Man who Found Caylee’s Remains

Roy Kronk, the man who found the body of Casey Anthony’s missing baby has filed a lawsuit against the Florida woman for defamation. He claims that Anthony’s defense team badmouthed him. Kronk is a meter reader in Orlando, Florida. He found the decomposed remains of Caylee Anthony in a wooded area not too far from her home in December of 2008. The discovery ended

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday by Kronk, which claims that Anthony and her defense lawyers subjected Kronk to lies and unfair accusations during the murder trial. The lawsuit filed by Kronk is at least the third filed against Anthony since she was acquitted of murder back in July. She was found guilty of lying to police officers though.

The lawsuit claims that Anthony’s lawyers provided a theory that he was involved in the death of Caylee. Anthony has been placed on probation for writing bad checks and has been out of the media’s eyes for months even though she has been the subject of lawsuits in civil cases.

Anthony was also sued by Zenaida Gonzalez for defamation. The reason for this is that Anthony told police back in 2008 that she thought a nanny with the same name as Gonzalez kidnapped her daughter. Police say Anthony made up the babysitter story. Gonzalez claims the accusations damaged her reputation. Anthony has also been sued by Texas EquuSearch, which spent over $100,000 for the manhunts organized to find Caylee.
