The Ideal Teaching Partner For An Associate

Above The Law’s Jay Shepherd writes about what an associate should expect from a partner who is his supervisor. Shepherd believes that a partner should help an associate become a fully experienced lawyer in such a way that one day, the associate himself can teach new associates what to do. A good teaching partner will also allow the associates working under him to see the bigger picture and include them in meetings.
