Greenberg Traurig had more attorneys listed in the annual The Best Lawyers in America Guide than any other firm for the fourth year in a row, firm officials said in a press release Tuesday.
According to the firm, 287 of its attorneys made the referral guide, including 14 in its Tallahassee office.
“We are honored to be recognized by other attorneys in such a distinguished publication,” said Fred W. Baggett, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Tallahassee office and chair of the firm’s national governmental affairs practice. “Attorneys being listed across so many practice areas also displays the broad spectrum of representation our local office provides, which enables us to help clients achieve their domestic and global objectives all within one firm.”
More than 140 of the firm’s practices were cited for having the most attorneys listed in select markets.
Best Lawyers was created in 1983 and is widely considered the definitive guide to legal excellence. It is based on peer-review surveys of more than 25,000 leading attorneys that vote on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties.
Greenberg Traurig has approximately 1,800 attorneys serving in more than 30 offices in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
