Squire, Sanders & Dempseyhas two new heads of personnel. Aneca L. Lasley has taken up the role of the firm’s hiring chair while Joseph C. Weinstein has been named as chair of the firm’s Legal Personnel Committee. For the last twenty years, these roles have been consolidated in the person of Timothy J. Sheeran, whom the two have succeeded, and which suggests a new direction in the firm’s hiring and recruiting policy.
“Industry business models might change, but one factor remains the same. People are the core strength of any law firm. That makes attracting, developing and retaining innovative legal talent one of our top priorities,” said firm chair, James J. Maiwurm.
