Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart P.C. has opened a new office in Portland today, says dBusinessNews. This marks the opening of the firm’s fortieth office. David P.R. Symes, formerly with Perkins Coie, LLP, joins the firm as the managing shareholder of the Portland office. Ogletree expects to add additional attorneys soon.
Mr. Symes’ practice focuses on complex and class action employment litigation. He has worked with employers from a wide spectrum of business and industry, including telecommunications, manufacturing and financial services.
This is the fifth new office Ogletree Deakins has opened this year. The firm has also opened offices in Las Vegas, Denver, Orange County and Minneapolis.
Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, PC is the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, representing management in all types of employment-related legal matters. The firm has more than 500 lawyers located in 40 offices nationwide from Miami to Los Angeles.
