An international leader in environmental protection efforts, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has joined the faculty of “Oil in the Gulf: Litigation & Insurance Coverage,” a legal conference scheduled for June 24-25, 2010, in Atlanta, and sponsored by HB Litigation Conferences LLC.

In today’s press release at PR Newswire, Tom Hagy, CEO of HB Litigation Conferences LLC was quoted as saying: “We are proud to have Robert F. Kennedy Jr. join our prestigious faculty of attorneys, from leading law firms, who are experts on legal and insurance coverage issues surrounding environmental contamination and toxic tort litigation. The Deepwater Horizon spill has already triggered nearly 100 lawsuits from deaths, injuries, property damage and economic losses. Our faculty will help attendees sort through the many liability and insurance issues these claims present.”

Mr. Kennedy was named one of Time magazine’s “Heroes for the Planet” for his success helping Riverkeeper lead the fight to restore the Hudson River. The group’s achievement helped spawn more than 130 Waterkeeper organizations across the globe.
