Revenue and profits decreased at Dechert in the 2009 fiscal year. Gross revenue decreased 12.6% from $816 million in 2008 to $713 million in 2009. Profits per equity partner decreased 8.6% to $1.96 million. Total head count at the firm dropped from 891 to 786. Notably last year Dechert was co-counsel to the Haas family trusts and antitrust co-counsel to Rohm and Haas on its $15 billion merger with Dow Chemical.
