Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher reported increases in both profits and revenue in the fiscal year 2009. Gross revenue increased almost 4% to $995 million. This increase is the best income performance in the firm’s history. Profits per equity partner increased 1.6% to $1.905 million. Revenue per lawyer decreased 2.38% to $1.012 million. The firm’s overall headcount increased 6.5% in 2009 to 983. Equity partnership ranks increased 3.6% from 274 to 284. Non equity partner ranks increased 49% from 18 to 28.
