Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, has been formally charged with involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles and has assembled a team of lawyers for his defense.
Leading the defense team is Ed Chernoff, who will be joined by his partners Matthew Alford and William Stradley, of the Houston criminal defense firm Stradley, Chernoff & Alford. Two California lawyers are also joining the team: Michael Flanagan of the firm Flanagan, Unger, Grover & McCool and solo practitioner Joseph Low.
Flanagan has experience with celebrity trials, having represented Britney Spears among other notables. He says the publicity for this trial already far exceeds any he’s worked on before and attributes it to the dearth of information that has been released about the 8 month investigation into Dr Murray.
Joseph Low has handled many sensitive and high profile trials including two trials of former US servicemen accused of murdering unarmed civilians in Iraq. Both men were cleared of murder charges. Low, himself a former marine, says he’s never lost a murder case.

Many believe that anyone who takes the view that Jackson was innocent of the allegations he faced during his life and is entitled to a meaningful inquiry into his death – is a ‘fan.’
I am not, but I have to ask – what if I were?
A fixed stance that Mr Jackson is guilty, flies in the face of the 2005 across-the-board verdicts, the FBI’s report after over 10 years of investigation, a worldwide and enormously expensive search for other so-called ‘victims’ by Tom Sneddon – that yielded nothing, and an on record statement by Thomas Mesereau that can be seen below;

- revealing that Jordan Chandler was not molested by Mr Jackson. It should be noted that Jordan was invited by the prosecution to testify against Mr Jackson in the 2005 trial.
He refused.
While Doctor Murray is almost certainly negligent, there is a bigger question in all of this that the media is convieniently not focusing on. ‘Why’ did Michael Jackson have chronic insomnia in the first place?
Twice the victim of extortion, a serious death threat, endless vilification by ‘journalists’ such as Diane Dimond and The Smoking Gun, who colluded with the, then Tom Sneddon-led LAPD to hystericize the American public into believing Mr Jackson was a child molester – would seem reason enough to be going on with.
Are we really going to allow this now third-generational damage and collection of lies to perpetuate into the lives of Michael’s children – and Gavin and Jordan’s?
It is time for a reappraisal.
