Alston & Bird Considers New Office Building

Alston & Bird has hired a developer to explore constructing a potential new office building in Atlanta, Georgia. The Law Firm would be the anchor tenant o the building. Daniel Corporation is the development company investigating the project. Last year Alston & Bird said it wanted to downsize from its current 420,000 square feet to 350,000 square feet. The firm has also considered moving into another building or renewing the lease at the current locations. The firm’s lease expires in October 2013.

Founded in 1893, Alston & Bird is a general practice firm with about 900 attorneys and offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, North Carolina, New York City, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley and Ventura County.
