James Chapman, who established and managed Nixon Peabody’s Palo Alto office, has moved to Foley & Lardner in Silicon Valley. Chapman has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and securities law and has been involved in over 200 mergers, acquisitions and finance transactions. He also represents emerging growth companies and investors and has extensive expertise in international and cross-border transactions, particularly with respect to China.

Foley & Lardner LLP is an international general practice law firm started in 1842 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It employs 1,000 attorneys in 21 offices and 60 practice groups, and is the 24th largest firm in the United States.
