Washington D.C. based firm WilmerHale has sent out inquiries to real estate brokers in New York City. The firm is looking for between 200,000 and 225,000 square feet of new office space. This is significantly larger than the space it currently occupies at Boston Properties’ 399 Park Avenue. At 399 Park Avenue WilmerHale occupies 163,000 square feet of space on floors 27 through 31, and 37. Other tenants in the building make it difficult for the firm to expand any further at that location.
WilmerHale has additional offices in Boston, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, California, and Waltham Massachusetts. International offices are located in London, Brussels, Berlin, Beijing, Oxford and Frankfurt. The firm has approximately 1,100 attorneys worldwide.
