Richard Lucash has joined McCarter & English as a special counsel in its corporate, securities and financial institutions practice group.

The addition of Lucash continues McCarter’s expansion in the biotech and entrepreneurial sector. The firm has added more than 20 professionals to its Boston office over the last 12 months, according to a press release.

Lucash’s principal practice focuses on emerging and high technology companies. He joins McCarter from Lawrence Associates, where he focused on executive compensation issues for technology companies.

“The depth of Rick’s experience working with emerging companies increases our abilities to serve Boston’s technology companies, entrepreneurs and venture capital firms,” said Burton Winnick, managing partner of the Boston office.

McCarter & English employs 400 attorneys and has offices in Boston, Hartford, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Stamford and Wilmington.
