David Savner, the former senior vice president and general counsel of General Dynamics, is returning to Jenner & Block as partner. Sayner served nearly 12 years as the chief legal counsel for General Dynamics. Prior to that, he was a partner in Jenner & Block and chairman of the Chicago-based firm’s corporate practice.
“We are thrilled that David is returning to Jenner & Block,” said Managing Partner Susan C. Levy. “David was a transformative leader at General Dynamics, a long-time client of the Firm. He possesses an incredible knowledge of corporate law and vast experience in handling the unique legal and regulatory issues facing today’s publicly traded and privately held companies.”
Sayner will join Robert Osborne in the firm’s corporate practice. Osborne, former vice president and general counsel of General Motors, joined the firm last September.
