Same song, different singer. Dewey & LeBoeuf will follow the Cravath bonus scale (not the slightly better Sullivan & Cromwell scale). $5-$30k depending on class year.
Cravath bonuses were announced November 2nd. Since then Cleary, Skadden, Wilkie Farr, Simpson Thatcher, Davis Polk, Debevoise & Plimpton, and now Dewey & LeBoeuf have matched the same anemic scale. For a few days it looked like there might be a new scale after Sullivan & Cromwell posted a bonus schedule of $5-$35k and Paul Weiss fell in line, but those heady days of $35k for senior associates (everyone else was paid a Cravath sized bonus) seem to be over now.
