Sidekick Users Getting their Data Back

After first announcing that the data was gone for good, Microsoft now expects to retrieve nearly all of the data lost when the servers that store Sidekick users’ data crashed earlier this month. Most users have already seen some or all of their data return, and Microsoft expects the rest will be restored shortly.

It should come as no surprise that lawsuits have already been filed. At least one lawsuit has been filed in California by a man on behalf of his daughter who has been traumatized by the loss of her contact information and photos.
