Foley & Lardner Layoffs Confirmed

Last Friday we reported on tips we had received indicating that Foley & Lardner was laying off as many as 39 lawyers. The firm has now confirmed that number, saying 39 lawyers across its 21 offices. The layoffs were blamed on the falling demand for legal services.

Foley & Lardner LLP is an international general practice law firm started in 1842 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It employs 1,000 attorneys, and is the 24th largest firm in the United States
