Leading Republican Joins Barnes & Thornburg

The head of the Illinois Republican Party, Patrick Brady, has joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner and will be part of the white collar defense group. Brady has been the chair of the Illinois GOP since August. He was a regional coordinator and a member of the national finance committee for John McCain in 2008.

With nearly 540 attorneys and other legal professionals, Barnes & Thornburg is one of the largest law firms in the country. The firm serves clients worldwide from its offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Indiana, Michigan, Minneapolis, Ohio and Washington DC.

    Isn’t this the guy who once got into a fist fight with the incumbent state’s attorney of McLean County during Brady’s campaign challenge in the mid-1990′s?

    Good choice.
