Bingham McCutchen + McKee Nelson Merger Complete

We reported last month that Bingham McCutchen would merge with McKee Nelson, and operate under the Bingham McCutchen name.

This week, the merger was completed. The deal has added 120 McKee lawyers to Bingham’s Washington DC and New York offices. The combined firm now employs 1,100 lawyers nationally.

Former McKee CEO Reed Auerbach is now on Bingham’s management committee. McKee’s name partners, William McKee and William Nelson, now co-chair Bingham’s tax practice group.

Bingham McCutchen LLP is an international law firm with approximately 1,100 attorneys in 11 US offices and three international offices. It represents clients in corporate litigation, cross-border restructurings and insolvencies, financing and securities, government affairs and a wide variety of corporate and technology transactions.
