Rumor: DLA Piper to Cut Equity Partners

Blawgs are reporting on rumors that global law juggernaut DLA Piper plans to force out some equity partners. The finance and projects groups are said to be particularly targeted, at the offices in the United Kingdom and Dubai.

Earlier this month, the firm laid off 21 lawyers and 100 staff in Chicago and New York.

The firm has made no official comment.
