Recent laterals and layoffs in the legal sector:
Marshall Stoddard joins Dewey & LeBoeuf from Mayer Brown, where he was chair of the global finance practice. He will be the US head of bank & institutional finance, working out of Los Angeles and New York.
Aram Ordubegian joins Arent Fox as a partner in Los Angeles from Richard & Patel, as part of the bankruptcy and financial restructuring group. He got his JD from Loyola Law School in 1996.
Kenneth Johnson joins Chadbourne & Parke as counsel; he was previously chief patent counsel for Credit Suisse Securities. He will focus on procurement, management, and licensing of intellectual property assets at the New York office. His JD is from Georgetown University Law Center.
