Edwards Angell Hires New Partners

Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge has hired on two private equity and venture capital partners.

Richard Kimball joins as partner from Nutter McClennen & Fish, to chair Edwards Angell’s emerging companies/technology practice group in Boston. At Nutter, Kimball was co-chair of the firm’s emerging growth companies practice group, and founded the firm’s award winning TechnOvation Awards Program. His JD is from Harvard Law School.

David Ramm joins the firm as a partner in London, from that city’s Speechly Bircham/Campbell Hooper, where he headed up the firm’s growing PE/VC practice.

Edwards Angell is 97th on the list of the world’s largest law firms by 2006 revenue. The firm was formed by the 2005 merger of Edwards & Angell LLP and Palmer & Dodge LLP.

    The firm reached 97th of the world’s largest law firm and it still growing. The firm is doing really well for its self and in the next couple year it might be in the top ten.

    I would not have expected a graduate of Harvard to make such donations to the Democratic party, so kudos to Mr. Kimball. I will also not mention a one armed man in this comment lol!
