Ropes & Gray Defers 2009 Summer Associates to 2011

Ropes & GrayBoston-based Ropes & Gray, which in March deferred its 2009 associate class, is deferring its current summer associates to “no earlier than January 2011.”

It is encouraging those deferred to find a public interest fellowship or a clerkship.

There has been no mention of stipends.
