Home, Law Firms, Layoffs

A JDJournal tipster tells us that the UK’s Mishcon de Reya, which in January cut two partners and 15 staff, has begun another round of redundancies, targeting 10 to 12 staffers.

Worst hit is the Property department which has suffered badly from the financial crisis and is struggling to gain client trust after one senior partner’s part in a fraud investigation.

If you know anything about layoffs at Mishcon de Reya, please send us a confidential tip. And thanks to our tipster!

Mishcon de Reya is a London law firm specializing in commercial law. It was formed when Victor Mishcon merged with Bartletts de Reya in 1988. The firm came to wider notice when partner Anthony Julius represented Diana, Princess of Wales in her divorce.
