Father & Son to Found Law Firm

Baltimore, Maryland’s Snyder, Weltchek & Snyder is losing name partner Robert J. Weltchek, who leaves the firm this week to hang out his own shingle.

Weltchek will join his son, recent University of Maryland School of Law grad Nolan Weltchek; and is bringing along associate Kristopher Mallahan, to found Weltchek, Mallahan & Weltchek LLC.

Mallahan worked with the elder Weltchek at both Snyder, Weltchek & Snyder and the now-defunct Weiner & Weltchek.

The new firm will focus on medical malpractice, and will work with Weltchek’s former firm on several ongoing cases.
