More Litigation Partners Leaving Clifford Chance

Clifford ChanceClifford Chance, which has been bleeding litigation partners, just lost two more.

Securities litigators Joel Cohen and George Schieren will depart the firm’s New York office.

At the end of last month, Mark Kirsch, the head of Clifford Chance’s US litigation practice, announced his departure, leaving the 29 associates in the firm’s New York litigation group under threat of layoffs.

Securities litigation head Mark Holland is quitting to join Goodwin Procter.

Clifford Chance LLP is the largest law firm in the world, both by number of lawyers and revenue, and part of the UK’s “Magic Circle” of leading law firms. It is a prestigious international practice with its principal office in London.
