Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Ruden McClosky has laid off two lawyers and at least 18 secretaries and paralegals.
Last Fall, the firm cut one lawyer and 15 staffers. At year’s end, the firm employed 172 lawyers in 11 Florida offices.
The firm has hired four new lateral partners in recent months.
