Trowers & Hamlins Lays Off 17 Lawyers & Staff

Trowers & Hamlins, which has laid off at least 11 lawyers in recent months, has now cut 17 lawyers and support staff in London.

Last month Trowers promoted seven new partners, increasing the firm’s global partnership to 117.

Trowers has three offices in the UK and five in the Middle East.

Trowers & Hamlins is a mid-sized UK law firm based in the City of London. It is considered a leading firm in the field of social housing law, and also a leading law firm in the Middle East.

In 2007, the firm was #40 on The Sunday Times list of “100 Best Companies to Work For.”
