Davis Wright Cuts Associate Salaries

Davis Wright TremaineSources on the blawgosphere report that Seattle’s Davis Wright Tremaine has cut associate salaries by 5%. The cut affects all class years.

Davis Wright is also pushing back start dates of its incoming associates to January 2010. A bar stipend of $7,500 has been offered.

Established in 1908, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has offices in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, California, Washington DC, New York, and Shanghai. In 2008, the National Law Journal ranked the firm 98th largest in the United States based on attorney headcount.
