Vedder Price Lays Off 9 Associates

Nine lawyers from Chicago-based Vedder Price are vedder, vedder upset to have been laid off.

The firm blames a downturn in litigation work. The 258-lawyer firm let go eight in Chicago and one in New York.

Established in 1952, Vedder Price is a general practice law firm with three offices in Chicago, Washington DC and New York City.
