I checked out ULG first before I hired them back in April 2009. At that time they only had 2 complaints I could find anywhere online. They obviously have taken on a lot more clients now and it's hitting the fan. I paid 2700.00 and was still issued a summons for foreclosure after 5 months. I called my mortgage company, even though ULG has always told me not to, and did a workout package with them and saved my home.

Very true, as an ex-employee. This place is a scam. They take your money up front and they promise all these great things. But nothing happens. Your home just gets sold. From the time that I was there that is what I saw. That is why I left that place. I heard all the employees talking about how the FEDS were going to be shutting that place down. Once I heard that, I was out of there....Gotta go, but hope this piece of information helps!!!

Thank you for this info, they are pestering me and I am glad there is information for people to me to research. They asked me for 4000 dollars and pretended to work for the government. As if I do not have enough problems. I am just glad I checked them out first and did not get screwed over like so many others. Charissa romane.

So true! Many of the employees at United (Out)Law Group are the same scoundrels from Quick Loan Funding. Most notably, notorious douchebag Corvi Urling is now preying under the guise of a "law group". Warn others to steer clear of any of this kind of "help" with their mortgage.

Today I got a solicitation from United Law Group about "loan modification".
United Law said that they charge $1700-$2500 and can get terms of 1%-4% interest.
It sounded like they would threaten the bank to sue them for violations of various "Fair Credit" laws.

Then I called my bank. Wells Fargo said that these lawyers just send in the same application that I can send myself, and then collect a fee.

The bank's application includes the following items:
1. Statement of your expenses
2. Explanation of your current hardship.
3. Latest pay stub or proof of your income.

This is true. My experience dealing with these people has been a nightmare! They will not respond to your calls and I caught them in a lie. They always point the finger on the lenders. I for one know that my lender has been telling me the truth the whole time! United law group just want more clients=money and just forget about customer service or your well being as a homeowner.

funny, United Law Group is suposedly going after "predatory loan modification companies" but they are fraudulent themselves. I used to work there. Its a loan modification company that has 1 attorney working for them. Funny stuff here. pay $$$ upfront with no guarantee for a loan modification, and in the 4 months I was there, NOT ONE was complete, and NO United Law Group doesnt refund the home owners money- its all about money there, they collect, and screw the home owner.
