Akerman Senterfitt Grows Government Affairs Group With Jon C. Porter

Akerman Senterfitt announced today that former Republican House Representative Jon C. Porter is joining the firm as Director of Public Policy in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Mr. Porter most recently served as a three-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives. He represented Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District, one of the largest and fastest growing Districts in the nation. He has served on a broad range of committees, including the House Ways & Means Committee, the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the Education and Workforce Committee and the Government Reform Committee. He also led and then helped revitalize the House Tourism Caucus.
